How can Emcee assist you in your implementation process?
In our experience the greatest benefit will be derived from any implementation of a solution when the business
processes of an organisation are aligned with the strengths of the software package. We have identified a
number of phases during an implementation and the following outlines how we can assist you in each phase.
Scoping - Identifying Your Needs
We are able to use our experience and expertise to assess your business strategy and business user needs to
identify all the issues that need to be addressed by the solution.
Solution Design and Build - Delivering Your Needs
Based on the information gathered in the scoping phase, we use our knowledge of the software to design and
build a solution that delivers your needs. This may also include business process re-alignment.
Testing
With your assistance we will create a User Acceptance Test (UAT) plan to ensure that the solution build
delivers your needs.
Cut over policy
Based on our experience we are able to assist you in defining a strategy to transfer your finance date to the
new system and determine the tools required to do this in the most efficient way.
Roll-Out/Go Live
This is a crucial phase of the implementation which, regardless of the design and build, can often be the
difference between success and failure. Based on your requirements, we can assist you in designing a roll-out
plan that minimises the risk of failure and maximises user buy-in.
Knowledge Transfer and User Training
We believe that the customer should possess a level of knowledge that enables them to be 'self-sufficient' on a
day to day basis. To ensure this, throughout the phases of the implementation, we will be transferring
knowledge to your staff ensuring they fully understand the solution and how it works. If required, we will also
design and deliver user training based on your application.
Post implementation support
We recommend that 6-9 months after go live a post implementation review takes place to ensure that the
processes and procedures have been implemented as agreed and the system is working according to your
specifications. We can assist you with this review.
